‘Music Mondays/Hat Night’ Begins at Tres Gatos

The restaurant/book and music store recently received an entertainment license.

This popular Centre Street eatery/chill spot is going to be cranking up the decibels while wearing hats each week.

Tres Gatos, which just received an entertainment license, kicked off its new Monday music series with legendary Violent Femmes singer Gordon Gano.

Along with live bands, Tres Gatos is bringing back “Hat Night,” also on Mondays. Their first one since January was July 1.

According to the Tres Gatos website, an explanation of “Hat Night”:

It’s simple: on the first Monday of every month, we encourage our staff and guests to wear their favorite beanie, beret, derby, capuchon, fez, floppy hat, panama, porkpie or just plain old baseball cap and join us for a night of fashion and fun.
