Sunlight Beauty beauty blog is a place I have created to share my love of beauty and fashion. My blog will include, beauty tips, do-it-yourself projects, outfit-of-the-day pictures, swatches, makeup looks, product reviews, shopping hauls, etc. Most of my blog posts are tailored to women who have deep dark skin tones. My ethnicity is Sierra Leonean/Nigerian and I have a very dark complexion. It is sometimes hard to find resources or products for the color of my skin, so I made it a point, as a lover of cosmetics and as a dark skin woman, to have a beauty blog that specializes in dark skin tones so that I could share my beauty findings with women who have a similar skin tone and who may also find it hard to find resources or products tailored to their skin tone. Even though my blog is tailored to people with darker skin tones, there is still helpful information on my blog for a range of skin complexions. I will have posts related to style (plus size friendly), weight loss, books/magazines, and more!, so there is something for everyone!
