Mitt Romney finished Super Tuesday strong, winning four states, and leading in two more, including a neck-and-neck race with contender Rick Santorum in Ohio, where a recount seemed possible. Speaking to a crowd of roughly 400 at the Westin Copley Place Tuesday evening, Romney congratulated his rivals Santorum and Newt Gingrich for their victories in the rest of the nation. Former Gov. Mitt Romney, as expected, won the Bay State's GOP presidential primary, according to several media outlets. In Boston he blew away his competition, taking 69 percent of votes. CNN, NBC and the Associated Press all called Romney the winner statewide shortly after polls closed at 8 p.m. His prize: The highest share of the state's 41 delegates to the Republican National Convention in Tampa. Massachusetts will allocate delegates on a proportional basis, according to Huffington Post. Candidates with at least 15 percent of the vote get a share of the delegates that roughly matches his percentage of the vote. If you want Obama to win the general election; vote for Santorum ! If Santorum gets the nomination (unlikely) then Obama strolls back into office. If Flopney gets the nomination , but sees how much support Santorum received during the year, he'll veer further right, not center for the general election.
