Here's a couple options for keeping it classy this holiday.
The holidays aren't over yet! We still have to ring in the new year, and if your NYE plans no longer involve raucous crowds, paper wristbands and long waits for over-priced drinks, you may be in search of a more elegant, low-key approach to the holiday. Here's a sampling of JP venues offering special New Year's Eve dinner menus... and don't forget to drop into Blanchards for some bubbly. Bon Savor (605 Centre Street): A $45 per person prix fixe menu includes three courses plus an amuse bouche. Appetizers feature a smoked salmon and caviar blini, a blood orange and jicama salad, and a potato-fennel veloute with creame fraiche and chives. For mains there's a lemon-thyme poached local lobster, bone-in rib eye au poivre, and a sage roasted …
