A 3-month-old kitten found trapped in a lacrosse net needs a new home. “Annette,” which the staff at MSPCA named her, was found on a Highland Street athletic field in Brookline completely tangled in a lacrosse net, according to Rob Halpin, spokesman for Angell-MSPCA. Hearing Annette’s cries, a good Samaritan saved the animal and brought it to the Jamaica Plain facility. Though the kitten’s leg was swollen to nearly twice its normal size, its leg was not broken.
