Jamaica Plain Hotel Opens Soon As Part of Resurgence in Hotel Market

At least seven notable hotel projects—including one nearby—expect to open their doors in the next two years.

If you think Boston needs more tourists spending money at local businesses, we have good news for you. Here in JP, the neighborhood's first hotel is slated to open soon. EnVision Hotel Boston at 81 S. Huntington told the Gazette they plan to open their 41-room "boutique hotel" on June 25. The hotel has set up a Facebook page. Elsewhere in the city, the Herald reports that Hosteling International Boston will open a 480-bed installation on Stuart Street near the Theatre District later this month. In August, the 12-room Chandelier Studios is slated to open in the South End, and several more projects are expected to start booking customers in the next 24 months.
