Storm Closings: Snow Emergency Declared From 9 pm Tuesday
An ongoing list of closings and cancellations from the expected snow storm.
JP and the rest of Boston are due to get socked with a foot or more of snow Tuesday night and Wednesday. Here are closings that we know of and other crucial pieces of storm information. If you have one to add, please e-mail the editor, Chris Helms, at chrish@patch.com. The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning from 2 am to 8 pm Wednesday. Boston Public Schools are closed Wednesday. The city has declared a snow emergency starting at 9 pm Tuesday. This restricts parking on certain marked streets (the city points JP residents to the West Roxbury list of streets).
