Each week we post a photo of a dish from a JP restaurant. This week it was chickpea pancakes from Tres Gatos.
The tapas bar/record shop/book store started serving brunch for the first time last weekend.
Tres Gatos, the combination tapas bar/record shop/book store on Centre Street, has started serving brunch. The new service began last weekend, according to owner David Doyle. Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. "After brunch, we'll be offering a light bar menu from 2 to 5 p.m., then our normal dinner service will begin at 5:30 p.m.," Doyle wrote in an email to JP Patch. Here's a look at the new brunch menu — which includes items like chickpea pancakes. Tres Gatos joins a JP brunch scene that has more options than it used to. That said ... I'll vouch for Robinwood as well. Classic Diner. Food is good and cheap and the people are cool, I'd take it over Sorella's any day, ESPECIALLY considering the wait that usually comes with Sorella's and the altogether average food you get there.   more ›
