A homeless man was arrested early Friday morning after attempting to break into two houses near Boylston and Amory streets within one hour. Paulino Manuel Deblito broke into residences at 4 Porter St. and 20 Dalrymple St. at 12:16 a.m. and 12:40 a.m., respectively, March 22, according to a police report. At the first residence, a victim confronted Deblito after hearing him in an alley next to the residence, the report states. Deblito tried to gain entry into the home through the garage as evidenced by two damaged window screens. After being confronted, Deblito left taking a right on Amory Street. Two Roxbury men were arraigned on charges last week after they allegedly broke into a home on Williams Street and made away with a safe, money and two television sets, before the suspects crashed their car and fled on foot, according to a police report. Travis Greer, 27, faces a felony charge of breaking and enterting a building in the daytime, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, possession with intent to distribute a class D substance (marijuana) and receiving stolen property over $250 and Jaquan Sims, 24, faces a felony charge of breaking and enterting a building in the daytime and receiving stolen property over $250, according to Renee Algarin, deputy press secretary for the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. …

Boston Police are asking for help solving a break-in that happened Monday on Minden Street.
Boston Police are looking for witnesses who might have seen a thief or thieves taking a flat screen TV out of a Minden Street apartment on Monday. Police say that sometime after 7 a.m. and before 6 p.m. on Monday, there was a break-in at 130 Minden St., Apt. 1. Someone took out a bedroom window screen to access an unlocked window, got in and made off with a 47-inch Samsung flat screen TV and a PlayStation 3. Police ask anyone who might have seen a flat screen TV being moved on Minden to contact detectives at 617-343-5628 or the District E-13 Community Service Office at 617-343-5624.
