A 6-month pregnant Roslindale woman got in the middle of an unleashed dog attacking her husband and own dog at Allandale Woods. The victim reported the incident to police and said he, his wife, and leashed dog were walking in the woods on the morning of May 6, when an unleashed rottweiler attached his dog, according to a Boston Police report. The victim was bitten on his left hand, wrist, and right forearm, and went to Faulkner Hospital for treatment. The owner of the unleashed dog allegedly told the victim that the dog had all his shots. Edward Villalona, 25, of Jamaica Plain died after a March 31 shooting on Minden Street.
Police have identified the victim of an Easter Sunday shooting in Jamaica Plain. Edward Villalona, 25, of Jamaica Plain died after he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest Sunday night, March 31 at around 8:30 p.m., according to a Boston Police blog post. Police responded to a call of shots fired at 104 Minden St. where the found Villalona. He was transported to Brigham and Womens’ Hospital where he died. Police are still looking for a vehicle spotted at the scene.

A man died after he was shot in the chest on Minden Street Sunday night.
Police are asking the public to help identify a vehicle involved in the Minden Street fatal shooting Sunday night. Tikee Beverly was indicted last month on charges alleging he committed five violent attacks against women in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury and Dorchester.
Alleged serial rapist Tikee Beverly was ordered held on $1 million cash bail Tuesday in Suffolk Superior Court for a string of violent crimes against women in Jamaica Plain and surrounding communities. Beverly, 36, from Roxbury was originally arraigned Feb. 5 on two attacks both on Washington Street in Jamaica Plain occurring on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, according a statement from Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley last week. He is now charged with 13 offenses related to five known area attacks committed between September 2012 and February 2013, according to a statement from Conley Tuesday. A Boston Police task force which targets youth violence arrested a man in possession of a loaded firearm in Jamaica Plain Thursday. Members of the Boston Police Youth Violence Task Force arrested Jordan Talik, 22, of Roxbury, in Egleston Square March 28, according to the Boston Police news blog. Officers from the strike force on patrol in the area observed Talik, who was known to be at the scene of a Dudley Square shooting at around 2 p.m. Thursday. “Officers observed the suspect make numerous ‘security checks’ with his left hand at the left front side of his waist. In light of Sunday night’s fatal shooting, police from E-13 will be in attendance at City Councilor Matt O'Malley's annual town hall meeting tonight to answer questions from residents.
Police from Jamaica Plain’s E-13 district will brief the community and answer questions tonight following a fatal shooting in Hyde Square over the weekend. District 6 City Councilor Matt O’Malley told Patch that representatives of the local police district will answer any questions citizens may have at O’Malley’s annual Town Hall meeting, taking place tonight at the Connolly Branch Library beginning at 6:30. A man was shot to death on Minden Street Sunday night before 8:30 p.m., according to police. The fatal shooting is the latest and most serious in a string of crimes to take place in JP so far in 2013. At the end of February, victims were robbed at gunpoint in the Pondside neighborhood, and there were a smattering of break-ins in March.

Tikee Beverly allegedly committed 13 offenses related to five attacks in Jamaica Plain, Dorchester and Roxbury between September 2012 and February 2013.
A Roxbury man who had in February been brought up on rape charges stemming from two Jamaica Plain attacks has been indicted on three more violent attacks on women. Tikee Beverly, 36, is now charged with 13 offenses related to five known area attacks committed between September 2012 and February 2013, according to a statement from Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley’s office Thursday. Beverly was arraigned Feb. 5 on two attacks both on Washington Street in Jamaica Plain occurring on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, according to the statement.
