Established in the late 1800s, Boylston Church is a Christian congregation located on Amory Street. Led by Rev.More Deryck Mason, the church is dedicated to being "a vibrant and energetic congregation that encourages all to come closer to God." In addition to Sunday services, the church offers music, religious education and community outreach programs. Boylston Church also operates a volunteer-operated thrift shop open the first Saturday of each month.

Call it a store with a conscience, but the owners call it a place where good old-fashioned local products and local people meet.

Stony Brook station is a small, quiet station tucked into the ground between Jackson and Green Street Stations.  ItMore is another access point to the subway serving densely populated south Jamaica Plain.  With its adjacent seating, stone engraved poetry and proximity to a public green space, the station has a community park-like feel.   With 12 bicycle spaces, no car parking and side street access, this station is primarily used by pedestrians on their way into town or out to Forest Hills.  Like Green Street, it connects to only one bus route, the #48 which serves South and Centre Streets.
