SO, we cannot say GOD or the Pledge Of Allegiance in schools , or wear religious slogans on clothingRead More in schools, but the KKK's right to freedom of speech and hateful bigotry is NOT a hate crime and is allowed to uphold their own freedoms in society ???????? What am I missing here. ???????

The Massachusetts Democratic "Party " is having a ball destroying the lives of the windRead More turbine victims. How about saying a prayer for the victims and pass it along ? Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Lots of important things going on. One being Russia slowly taking over portions of the UkraineRead More under false pretenses of "protecting Russian speaking residents from aggression by a US backed terrorist regime", and we get stories on peanut butter and fluff.
Waverly Watchdog April 23, 2014 at 03:50 pm
The Fluffernutter SHOULD be the symbol of Massachusetts POLITICIANS at all levels. - - - They wasteRead More time on FLUFF and NUTTERY. - - - But, perhaps, it is not entirely the pols fault. The lapdog media must share part of the blame. - - - A case in point: This stupid story made Patch, but hugely wasteful public works projects and gross public sector union contracts are never mentioned. - - - But the pols know perfectly well they will NEVER be held to account for ANYTHING, because they can distract the media and the public with nonsense like a state sandwich. - - - I think we should have a 'state horses anatomy part'. I leave it to the reader to figure out WHICH part I'd suggest... HINT: Look under the tail.

Honestly, Michael, yes. I really can't imagine what that will be like. I have a good friend who isRead More as liberal as they get (we don't discuss politics, which is why we still like each other). There is a tiny part of me that would like to see Hillary win just to prove to my friend how wrong she is about her. But the rational part of me is scared - really scared - of how many fewer rights we would have under a Hillary presidency combined with a Democratic Congress. I mean we've already lost enough in the last 8 years; we need to stop the bleeding.
Kevin April 24, 2014 at 02:50 pm
Tom Hollman, all good points, but please, stop with the CAPS.
Michael Hipp April 24, 2014 at 02:54 pm
I don't disagree with you that we're becoming less and less a free country but it's wrong to blameRead More democrats alone. It wasn't dems alone that passed the patriot act. It hasn't been dems alone that have been re-uping it since it was passed the first time. On how bad Hillary will be as a president. Every president is bad in some ways. Reagan raised taxes more than a dozen times. Bush took us to war on two fronts with no way to pay for it. Clinton signed DOMA and DADT. Obama gave away the farm in order to get the Affordable Care Act passed. Papa Bush said that atheists shouldn't be considered Americans. Sure Hillary will be a bad president in some ways.... they are all bad in some way. I can tell you this much though, any president is going to be a worse president when the publicly stated goal of the opposition is to obstruct that president at any and all opportunities. The dems did it to Bush. The republican'ts are doing it to Obama. It's like Palestine and Israel, they'll fight to the death out of spite and habit, neither one of them knowing which one threw the first punch and not caring because winning is the only goal. What America needs are citizens that go into government for the good of the country instead of the good of their party.

This is a great article. If your financial institution has guarantees on fraudulent charges and theyRead More try to stick you with the bill or change certain terms and conditions without consideration or notice, make sure you seek legal advice from an attorney. Why are all the dependents so angry? They should be thanking us hard working intelligent people forRead More providing for them. I guess they have been dependent for so long, that they just think this is The way life is supposed to be. To all you that depend on democratic hand outs: it doesn't have to be this way. Just vote for leaders that know how capitalism works, so you can get a job, and be just like we smart, conservative people. It's a better life then just being a bitter twit like super size idiot!

this "to me" is not funny, the swat teams are used for serious issues, hostage taking,Read More etc. to have a swat team called to a home behind a video game is stupid, these swat members are trained to save lives, etc. to be called to a home behind a video game is not funny, what happens if a REAL call comes in and swat is needed there, I hope they catch the idiot that called swat and he gets what he/she deserves

@Charles Taite - As one of the commentators responding to and to whom Black Panther of PoetryRead More responded I happen to agree with you. I don't know whether Patch removed him or whether he did so himself. I for one did not flag any of his comments as offensive regardless of my personal dislike of some of the comments he made.
