First Baptist Church In Jamaica Plain
617-524-3992
Rev. Ashlee Wiest-Laird describes the church as a welcoming and affirming American Baptist congregation. The historic church caught fire in January 2005. Only the steeple and walls survived the blaze. A massive church and community effort has resulted in a rebuilt church that has grown to 80 active members. The congregation is highly diverse and reflective of Jamaica Plain as a whole.
