Curtis Hall is an enigma. In the past twenty years there's been at least one part closed about 40% of the time. Yoga in the pool? Swell, great! Closed. Basketball for the kids? Terrific, lets go! Closed. Seniors tax help? Wonderful, good idea! Closed. On and on until nobody knew from one week to the next what sections would be open or closed.
That aside, this year the old granite steps were removed, new concrete steps were poured and two weeks later those were torn off. Skip the city press releases, reality is not in them. Last week I spotted three workmen appeared to be hiding on the shady side of the library during the afternoon, not a tool or sign of work in sight. Does anybody REALLY know what's going on there?

I'd like to visit Curtis Hall but can't find any info on the web with updated info. What's up with that?
