The Hyde Square Task Force will be out along Centre Street Saturday providing the lining trees with new mulch.

Do you want to protect the beauty of our street, meet other residents and merchants,and get exercise on a pleasant fall day? Come help us protect our street trees along Centre Street by putting fresh mulch in tree pits that need them.
Spreading mulch in tree pits protect tree roots from damage, keep moisture in the soil, ensure that trees survive our tough winters, and reduce the tripping hazard of sidewalks by leveling the soil in the tree pits with the sidewalk.
