Jamaica Pond Lantern Parade Celebrates 30 Years

The festival will take place this weekend.

The Jamaica Pond Lantern Parade is in its 30th year, and the weekend event promises to be as vibrant as ever.

The festival is this weekend, both days, at 6 p.m., according to a flyer from Spontaneous Celebrations, the JP organization running the event along with the Friends of Jamaica Pond.

City Feed & Supply – Oct. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Spontaneous Celebrations – Oct. 18, 6 to 9 p.m.

Both events are $5. The parade’s rain date is Oct. 26.
