Free Collage Workshop Inspired by Junot Diaz' 'Drown' in JP
The event is in conjunction with the JP Reads program.
Join local artists Roberto Chao andDeymirie Hernández
and make collages inspired by “Drown,” stories by Junot Díaz. The
workshop is bilingual, in English/Spanish. Participants with all levels
of art experience are welcome. Read the stories and bring your imagination. We'll supply paper, scissors, glue and collage materials. Bring your own materials as well if you like.
The event is Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m., at the Jamaica Plain branch library.
