Classes are held in the dance studio of newly renovated Curtis Hall. Amy guides participants in a short centering with breathwork, gentle warm-ups, moderate poses focusing on strength, flexibility and balance, followed by cool-down postures and relaxation. In addition to building strength and flexibility, students learn tools to increase awareness of body, breath, and mind, encourage natural alignment, and manage stress. No previous yoga experience is necessary! All are welcome.
Through March, try your first class for free! After that, cost is $10 per class for JP Community Center members. (Membership is $25/year for individuals, $45/families, $10/teens, $3/seniors). Or, buy a 6-class card for $50 ($35 for seniors).
