ABOUT THE CLASS:
This class integrates strength, stability, and alignment of core work (abdominals, lower back, and shoulders). We will be focusing on proper alignment and positioning, with deeper attention being paid to the foundation of your yoga practice; Sara will guide you through the basics of Vinyasa Flow. Developing and maintaining core strength will enable students to feel more weightless and confident when getting into and holding many postures, as well as improve alignment and allow transition between poses to flow effortlessly during practice.

My name is Sara Castaneda and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of teaching experience. I teach many styles of yoga including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Kripalu. Along my teaching path, I read articles on the benefits of doing Yin. I have tight hips myself and was determined to begin practicing. I found a class, attended and fell in love with the practice. It is a contemplative practice that really allows you to find stillness in mind and body.
