In a battle of two winless teams, the softball team once again found itself on the wrong end losing to Boston City (South) League-foe Charlestown, 26-3, on April 27.
Blue and Blue assistant coach Anne Minichino commented that pitching continues to be an issue for the team, but despite English’s woes the players are enjoying competing.
“They are having so much fun,” she said. “It’s great. Most of them are new to the country and new to softball, but they are bonding with each other.”

Providing the offense for the Blue and Blue were Kiarry Ortega, Anabel Calderon, and Jarolin Romero, who each crossed home plate.
