Dozen Students to Graduate from JP's British School of Boston Friday

A Harvard Business School professor will be the guest speaker at the commencement.

A dozen students at the British School of Boston in Jamaica Plain will wrap up their high school careers this Friday, June 6.

Graduation at the school takes place at 1 p.m., when the 12 students from Boston, Brookline, Newton and Cambridge will receive their diplomas.

While 12 may be small for many schools throughout the commonwealth, it is the school's largest number of graduating students to date, according to Danielle Curtis, a spokesperson for the school, which is located at 416 Pond St. in Jamaica Plain.

"As the fifth graduating class from the British School of Boston, the Class of 2014 is three times as large as the school's first graduating class in 2010, when only four students walked across the stage to receive their diplomas," Curtis wrote in a statement.

The international private school offers personalized learning for students aged 18 months through 18 years.
