Stop Sinning and Start Winning

What dream would you like to make real in your world? What is the bull's eye that you are aiming to hit? Are you sinning? Are you missing the mark?

Student: I want to hit the bull’s eye?

Teacher: Then you must stop sinning and start winning.

Student: What does sinning have to do with it?

Teacher: In Classical Greek days, ‘to sin’ was a word used in archery circles – it meant ‘to miss the mark’.

Again: in classical Greek, ‘to sin’ meant to ‘miss the mark’. Why say it again? So it will sink in.

What dream would you like to make real in your world? What is the bull’s eye that you are aiming to hit? Are you sinning? Are you missing the mark? What must you do to stop sinning and start winning?

The answer to the above question is simple: There is a division between your vision and your feelings … and you must get rid of this division if you are to experience winning. Let’s hear that again: There is a division between your vision and your feelings … and you must get rid of this division if you are to experience winning.

Repetition makes the heart grow fonder to that which is being repeated. Train your self-talk to repeat what you want your heart-mind to listen to – it will reward you.

When there is a division between your ‘visions of success’ and your ‘feelings about succeeding’, you will miss the mark again and again.

To attempt to succeed, while entertaining feelings of doubt, guarantees missing the mark. Perhaps you will almost hit the mark, but if you do not resolve the feeling of doubt – sinning will be the ultimate outcome. You will miss the mark.

When you miss the mark – you hit something else, don’t you. The arrow hits something, when it misses the bull’s eye. The arrow cannot go in two directions at the same time. If you doubt you will hit the bull’s eye then you are aiming to hit something else. Perhaps it’s the subconscious that is doing the aiming (perhaps you’re not conscious of it), but when the arrow leaves the bow, it swiftly goes for another target.

Those other things you hit, other than the bull’s eye, when aiming to win, represent your belief in failing time and time again. Now you are a habitual sinner. Have no more of such foolishness!

What to do?

What to do?

What to do?

If you are to ‘hit the mark’ … if you are to hit the bull’s eye, dead center … if you are to make real the abstract vision that tantalizes you … then you must focus on that vision, and only that vision in thought, word, emotion and action. What helps you do that? You must deny the lies that make you feel insecure about winning.

You must accept that the truth is honest and it does not cheat … and the truth is this: You are marvelously made to be an expert archer. You are destined to win at whatever you set the arrow to. You are worthy to hit the bull’s eye, and experience a life that is bountifully beautiful in every manner.

When you know this above truth about you – you will not hit anything else but what you aim to achieve. Perhaps not on the first try … but you didn’t learn to walk and talk on the first try either. Now you hit the mark every time!

When you know this above truth about yourself, your thoughts, words, emotions and actions align … you aim … you release … you hit the bull’s eye … you have arrived!

Let the habitual flawed self - that is not really you - fade away. Seek to contact the higher part of you - the authentic you - that is destined to win at whatever you set your arrow to. Seek to sin less and win more. You will be amazed at how feelings of injustice will quickly fade away.

You are not a sinner.

You are a winner!
