Nominate Jamaica Plain's Best for Readers' Choice 2012

Click on the category below and nominate the best of local businesses in Jamaica Plain.

Patch's "Best Of" series strives to help Jamaica Plain residents get the best service, find the biggest bargains or choose the tastiest cup of coffee.

When we first started these contests, we did one a week. But this summer, we're changing gears by doing 25 categories at the same time.

Help Patch determine the best of the best in by entering your nominations in each one of these categories. (Click on the category and then place your nomination in the comments stream at the bottom of the article.)

We will be accepting nominations until July 9.

Then, on July 23, come back to vote on which nominee is the best. Whoever gets the most votes will be named the Readers' Choice winner.

Why are the categories so focused on food and personal care? This is unfortunate as it excludes so many local businesses, i.e. clothing, art, realtor, etc.

Hi Rob, thanks for the question. This is the lineup for this summer. We'll be having future Best Of contests and we'll certainly adjust the categories to match residents' interests.
