Worst Intersection in Jamaica Plain? [Poll]

Weigh in on the most jammed — or the most dangerous — corners in town.

Defining 'the worst' intersection in Jamaica Plain can vary; it might mean the most dangerous. It could mean the most traffic-clogged. It could be defined as simply the most aggravating, for a constellation of reasons.

So tell us what you think.

I don't want to skew the poll voting, but despite some other aggravating intersections, I find the intersection of Green Street and Centre Street to be hands-down the most dangerous. It is actually safest (even if aggravating) when the traffic is backed up on Green Street; the real danger starts when Centre Street drivers will sail through the red lights without, it would appear, even seeing the red lights. I've seen that happen repeatedly. (My guess as to why: the lights are too small to be noticed among all the visual 'stuff' going on.)

I find the most obnoxiously aggressive driving on the J-Way, especially at the intersection with Pond Street, where a couple of summers ago I came close to being pulverized by a car running the red light.

I've offered some 'worst' choices in the poll below, but add more — or disagree with me — in the comments box below.
