See Where JP's Arroyo, Others Are Positioned on Mayoral Election Ballot

The city announced the order in which names will appear on the ballot for the September 24 preliminary elections for City Council At-Large and Mayor of Boston.

Charles Clemons Jr. is not expected to top the ticket of the preliminary mayoral election on Sept. 24, but he will be the first name listed on the ballot.

Boston's Election Department announced the ballot order on Thursday, July 11, after the candidates' names were entered into a drum and pulled out in the order that appears on the list.

Here is the order for the mayoral preliminary, in which two candidates, regardless of party, will advance to the Nov. 5 final:

Below is the following order for the at-large Boston city councilor preliminary on Sept. 24. The eight candidates with the most votes will advance to the Nov. 5 final to determine the four at-large positions. Incumbents Ayanna Pressley and Stephen Murphy are seeking reelection.
