Gov. Patrick Prepares for Final State of the Commonwealth Address
The last State of the Commonwealth Address during Deval Patrick's tenure as governor will be delivered at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday.
Though winter weather pushed it back a week, Governor Deval Patrick will deliver his final State of the Commonwealth Address at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The delay puts Patrick's speech on the same night as President Barack Obama's State of the Union, which is scheduled for 9 p.m.
Gov. Patrick planned to preview his Fiscal Year 2015 Budget at the Monday, Jan. 20, speech, but state law required it to be released by Wednesday. Here is a press release on the budget.
