JP Zoning Committee

The JP Zoning Committee (usually) meets the first and third Thursdays of the month.

Meetings are usually held at Farnsworth House.

We post draft agendas here in advance of the meetings when possible.

For the July 26 meeting, here are potential agenda items (from an email from the committee chairman.)

"The agenda for that meeting will include 1A-1B Meyer Street (erect a single-family house on an existing non-conforming lot); 82-84 Minden Street (change occupancy from two-family dwelling and store to three-family and beauty salon; install second means of egress for apartment over garage); 16 Estrella Street (change lawful use from indoor parking to indoor parking, outdoor parking, indoor storage and outdoor storage); and likely the return of 14-16 Ernst Street (extend living space into basement)."

Also, a special meeting has been set for Aug. 2. Committee chairman Dave Baron says: "The agenda for the meeting will be a second follow-up with the applicant and neighbors on 71 South Street (demolish existing two-family dwelling, currently being used as offices, and erect a building with five residential units)."
