City Paints New Mural On Purple Cactus Wall
The new mural will be finished sometime in late August.
The Mayor's Mural Crew was hard at work outside Purple Cactus on a sweltering Thursday morning painting over a 10-year-old mural in preparation for a new design to be finished later this summer.
Heidi Schork, director of the program, which provides summer jobs for teens, talks about the previous mural and her motivation toward painting the new one.
