O'Malley won his third election in the district in three years.

Here's his letter to the editor thanking District 6 voters:
I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to the voters of District 6 for electing me to a third term as their City Councilor.
I am proud of my record and I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve the people and neighborhoods that I know and love. In the past three years, I believe that I have amassed a record of delivering for the residents of my district and for citizens citywide. However, I am just getting started.
