Casey Overpass Project Goes Out to Bid

It's possible that site preparations could begin by mid-August.

Plans to demolish the Casey Overpass in Jamaica Plain and replace it with a network of streets went out to bid on Saturday, April 12, according to the Jamaica Plain Gazette

Site preparations for the site could begin as early as mid-August, as the Massachusetts Department of Transportation has stated that the bidding process takes about 120 days to complete, according to the Gazette, which reported that the Casey Overpass is expected to be closed by the end of the year.
