Casey Design Advisory Group Set for Next Meeting

The first in a series of meetings involving the group is Aug. 8.

With state officials readying plans for the 100 percent design level – having recently completed the 75 percent design phase public meeting – so begins another series of public meetings regarding planning for the Casey Arborway project.

The Casey Arborway Design Advisory Group will host a public meeting Aug. 8 to discuss the project development schedule, the Forest Hills Station upper busway, bicycle and pedestrian refinements and other aspects of the project, which will bring down the deteriorating Casey Overpass in 2014.

The Design Advisory Group is a 31-member group made up of area residents, elected officials and members of various boards in the local community.
