Boston Mayor Walsh to Hold Coffee Hours in Jamaica Plain Tuesday

Residents will have a chance to chat with the mayor one-on-one.

Boston Mayor Martin Walsh will be making a stop to speak with residents in Jamaica Plain on Tuesday. 

The visit is part of the mayor's coffee hour series, sponsored by Dunkin' Donuts, that began on Monday, May 12 in Charlestown

And on Tuesday, the mayor will be at South Street Park, 52 South St. in Jamaica Plain from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., according to an announcement from Boston City Hall

The 16th annual neighborhood coffee hours series is meant to provide residents an opportunity to speak directly with the mayor about open space and other neighborhood-related needs and issues. Those who attend the one-on-one chats will receive coffee and breakfast, courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts, as well as fresh fruit from Whole Foods Market. 

Moreover, each family who attends the series will receive a flowering plant grown in Boston's greenhouses as a gift from the mayor, and residents will be eligible to win a raffle prize package that includes a Dunkin' Donuts gift basket, according to the announcement.
