Woman Dies After Falling from Attic Window on Robeson Street

A woman was taken away by ambulance in traumatic arrest from injuries suffered when she fell from the attic window of an 8 Robeson Street home. She was pronounced dead at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

UPDATE, Friday 8:45 p.m.: Police confirm the woman died from her injuries. Preliminary investigation shows the woman may have jumped, said Police Officer James Kenneally.

The woman may have been trying to get back into a locked house, according to Steve Walsh, who is at the scene.

Boston Police said the woman's injuries were life-threatening. As is protocol, the Homicide Unit is investigating the incident.
