Two Arrested for B&E, Theft in Jamaica Plain Tuesday

Officers from the Boston Police Department's District E-13 station in Jamaica Plain arrested a Dedham man and a Roslindale woman Tuesday after responding to a report of breaking and entering in JP. 

Upon arrival at 975 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain, police spoke with a victim who claimed that, as she returned home, she found a window and door open and came upon two individuals she didn't know leaving her residence and fleeing toward the Arnold Arboretum, Boston Police said.

Officers subsequently issued a broadcast of the suspects' descriptions and were able to locate the two, arresting them and recovering the victim's stolen property, which included a laptop and several pieces of jewelry.

Police arrested Barry Taylor, 30, of Dedham, and Alexandria Vega, 30, of Roslindale, charging them with breaking and entering of a dwelling, larceny of more than $250 and buying, receiving or concealing stolen goods, according to Boston police.
