Transit Police Looking for Bike Thieves in Jackson Sq. Station Incident

Police are looking to ID two men who allegedly stole a bike from the station in JP.

Detectives with the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police are looking to identify two individuals who allegedly stole a bicycle from the Jackson Square MBTA station earlier this month. 

The incident occurred on Saturday, April 19 around 12:30 p.m., when the suspects allegedly cut a lock and chain off a bike attached to the bike rack at the station, taking the bike with them, according to Transit Police. Jackson Square Station is located at 1500 Columbus Ave. and 240 Centre St. in Jamaica Plain.

The alleged suspects are described as a black male wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, jeans and black sneakers, and a white male, possibly Hispanic, wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans and red sneakers, according to Transit Police.
