Transit Police Investigating Monday Shooting at Stony Brook Station

The MBTA Transit Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that took place Monday night at Stony Brook Station on Lamartine Street in Jamaica Plain. 

Several Transit Police officers responded with Boston police around 8 p.m. on Monday to the station, where they located a 23-year-old male victim suffering from what appeared to be non life-threatening gunshot wound. 

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital by Boston Emergency Medical Services. The incident, police said, took place near the entrance to the station, police said Monday night.
