Transit Police Arrest JP Man Wanted on Several Warrants
The 35-year-old man was found to have five warrants issued for his arrest after police cited him for "piggybacking" at the Tufts Medical Center train station.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Transit Police arrested a Jamaica Plain man late last week on drug charges after officers caught him trying to avoid paying fare at the Tufts Medical Center train station.
At around 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, Transit Police officers at the station observed Giovanny Perdomo, 35, of Jamaica Plain, evade fare by "piggybacking" in behind a paying customer at the station, according to a statement by Transit Police.

When officers approached Perdomo to issue a citation, they discovered the following warrants had been issued for Perdomo: one out of Boston Municipal Court for possession of a Class A substance, one out of Roxbury District Court for possession of a Class A substance, one out of Quincy District Court for possession of a Class A substance, one out of Brighton District Court for shoplifting over $100 and one out of Chelsea District Court for driving without a license, according to the statement.
