Suspect in Ashmont MBTA Station Stabbing Found in Jamaica Plain

A man alleged to have stabbed a woman in the chest at Ashmont Station on the Red Line was arrested at a JP shelter for the homeless.

A man wanted for allegedly stabbing a Brockton woman in the chest at Ashmont Station was collared in Jamaica Plain.

According to the Globe, Donald Calvaire, 29, was arrested Wednesday at the near Franklin Park. He was scheduled to be in court to face charges Thursday morning.

The woman was stabbed in the chest and upper shoulder area on Tuesday morning. Initial reports from Universal Hub indicated the she was stabbed with a ballpoint pen, but T police say they are investigating what weapon was used.
