Snow, Freezing Rain and Rain Make JP Roads Hazardous

Today's snowstorm is nothing compared to last week's blizzard, but the mix of snow, freezing rain and rain is making the neighborhood's streets treacherous.

The National Weather Service has posted a hazardous weather notice and winter storm advisory that call for rain this afternoon and evening, possibly turning back into sleet as the night cools.

There have been several vehicle accidents, according to scanner traffic, including one at Centre and Allandale that left a vehicle resting on the traffic island.
