Scanner: Police Seek Gray Prius Used in Shooting

According to scanner reports, police are seeking a gray Prius with several people in it, believed to have been used in a shooting on Harold Street in Roxbury, just outside Jamaica Plain.

UPDATE, 3:40 p.m. — Police say the bicyclist is a 20-year-old man whose injuries are not life-threatening.

UPDATE, 1:04 p.m. — According to scanner reports, the victim was riding a bicycle and was first struck by the car from which he was then shot. The car may have front-end damage, police say. The vehicle is a four-door with a hatchback and may be a Toyota Prius or a Mazda 5.

According to scanner reports, a shooting victim told police that he was fired on from persons inside a gray Prius.

The shooting took place Friday at 241 Harold St., just oustide Jamaica Plain in Roxbury. A second vehicle, a silver Highlander with tinted windows, was also seen leaving the scene of the attack, according to scanner traffic.
