Ronald Snee, 50, Identified as Jamaica Plain Man Killed By Alleged Drunken Driver

The driver of the pick-up that struck and killed Snee was freed after posting $10,000 bail, according to the Boston Herald.

Police have identified Ronald Snee, 50, as the Jamaica Plain man killed in a Sunday crash that seriously injured two others.

State Police have charged Anthony Deicicchi, 28, of Plymouth, with motor vehicular homicide while operating under the influence, two counts of operating under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury, operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to a press release from the State Police.

The crash occurred in Quincy at 12:28 a.m. Sunday.

Deicicchi also faces a charge of marked lanes violation. He was arraigned at his hospital bed at Tufts Medical Center, according to the Boston Herald. He was freed after posting $10,000 bail, the Herald reported.

According to the State Police, Deicicchi was driving south on Quincy Shore Drive when the 2007 Chevy Silverado he was driving suddenly crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 1995 Ford Explorer driven by Snee. The Jamaica Plain man was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

A 22-year-old Dorchester man riding in the Explorer, Brian Tirado, was seriously injured. According to the Herald, which talked to Tirado, he nearly lost his leg. Deicicchi also had a passenger, 27-year-old Kevin Dunn of Hull. Tirado and Dunn are both recovering at Boston Medical Center.
