RETRACTED: Jamaica Plain's Stonybrook Wine & Spirits Was Not Robbed Again By Man With Prominent Scar

A report that for the second time in three months, a man with a prominent scar and using the same method robbed Stonybrook Wine & Spirits was wrong. The store was only robbed once.

[Editor's note: The initial posting of this story was wrong. Stonybrook Wine & Spirits was not robbed a second time on Saturday by a man with the same description as a January robbery. There were two posts about the same incident on the Mass Most Wanted Web site, which I wrongly assumed were two incidents. Detectives say they are actively working the January armed robbery.]

Here is information on the January robbery:

Police report that two suspects appeared to work together in holding up on Jan. 24. They had parked a sports utility-type vehicle outside at Danforth and Boylston. While one man waited outside as a lookout, the other man came toward the store. Police say that man drew a gun and pointed it at a store employee who outside on a cigarette break.
