Police Seek Witnesses in Jackson Square Triple Shooting

None of the wounds appeared to be life-threatening, police said.

A hail of gunfire left three men wounded on Thursday night in Jackson Square. None of their wounds are life-threatening, police said.

Police found three men wounded when they arrived at 279 Centre St., which is at Bromley-Heath Housing Development, at 9:19 p.m. Initial scanner reports indicated police chased suspects on foot into the nearby Academy Homes, which is across Columbus Avenue.

Initial reports also described a white Honda Accord with red lights around the plate as a suspect vehicle, according to Brian D'Amico's Twitter feed.

Those wounded in the shooting were a 27-year-old man, shot apparently in the left calf and a 22-year-old man with unspecified wounds. Both were taken to Brigham & Women's Hospital. Also hurt was a man for whom police did not give an age. He was struck in the arms and was treated at Boston Medical Center.

Police ask anyone with information on this incident to call District E-13 detectives at 617-343-5628. Anonymous tips can be given by calling 800-494-TIPS or texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
