Plymouth Man Charged In Crash That Killed JP Man.

Jamaica Plain victim still not named.

Police have charged a Plymouth man with motor vehicular homicide in connection with a fatal crash that killed a Jamaica Plain man and seriously injured two others.

State Police have charged Anthony Deicicchi, 28, of Plymouth, with motor vehicular homicide while operating under the influence, two counts of operating under the influence of alcohol causing serious bodily injury, operating under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to a press release from the State Police.

The crash, which occurred in Quincy at 12:28 a.m. this morning, remains under investigation by the State Police, but police have yet to release the name of the 50-year-old Jamaica Plain man killed in the crash, according to police

Deicicchi also faces a charge of marked lanes violation. He will be arraigned tomorrow at Quincy District Court.

According to the State Police, Deicicchi was driving south on Quincy Shore Drive early this morning when the vehicle he was driving suddenly crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 1995 Ford Explorer driven by the Jamaica Plain man. The Jamaica Plain man was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

A 22-year-old Dorchester man riding in the Explorer was seriously injured along with a 27-year-old Hull man who was riding in Deicicchi’s vehicle. Both were taken to Boston Medical Center.
