PHOTOS: Wreck Takes Place at Washington and New Washington

A Toyota Corolla and Chrysler Pacifica collided.

A Toyota Corolla suffered extensive front-end damage in a collision at Washington and New Washington streets about 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

When Patch got to the scene the wreck took up the right turning lane toward Shea Circle. Paramedics were checking on drivers and passengers.

It appeared the Corolla's front end hit the rear of a Chrysler Pacifica minivan. An airbag on the passenger's side of the Corolla had deployed. The minivan also had damage to its front, indicating it had possibly collided with a vehicle in front of it that was gone by the time Patch arrived.
