State Police, cooperating with Boston Police, arrested a get-away driver and a man police say did the actual robbery.

State Police and Boston Police, acting in concert, quickly arrested two persons suspected of robbing the Eastern Bank on Centre Street.

Around 3:30 p.m. Monday, a 30-year-old black man wearing grey clothing and sunglasses robbed the bank, showing a towel that may have had a firearm beneath, according to Boston Police.

Police broadcast a description of a get-away vehicle and its license plate. A vehicle matching the description was stopped by State Police in Kenmore Square at Boylston and Park Drive.
