Pedestrian Struck in Hyde Square

A woman from Manhattan suffered a head injury, according to her husband.

A Manhattan woman suffered what her husband said was an injury to the head when she was struck by a pick-up truck while crossing Centre Street.

The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. at Centre and Oakview Terrace in Hyde Square.

The driver of the grey Toyota Tundra that apparently struck the woman declined to speak to JP Patch. He appeared very shaken up by the incident.

The woman, Nelly Guerra, was taken away via ambulance for treatment. Her husband said the couple was visiting from New York City.
