Victim Shot at Bromley-Heath Monday Night

Police and EMTs searched for but could not locate a second victim.

There was at least one victim in a shooting at the Bromley-Heath housing complex during the 9 o'clock hour Monday night.

According to reports, one person was shot at 279 Centre St. and transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital. The male victim sustained non life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police and emergency personnel searched but could not find a second victim as of 9:16 p.m.

Police received a call for shots fired at 700 Centre St. just after 10 p.m. but found nothing in the area, according to police.

@UniversalHub reported the suspect in the shooting is a "Light-skinned Hispanic male in white tank top, [who] ran into Bromley-Heath." @AlertNewEngland reported eyewitnesses saw the suspect carrying a gun.
