One Dead in Saturday Shooting

Boston Police are investigating a double shooting that left one victim dead on Saturday.

 

District E-13 Boston Police are investigating a double shooting that left one dead in the area Columbus Avenue and Washington Street on Saturday in Roxbury.

At about 3:21 p.m., on June 1, officers located two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Boston Police Department's Facebook page. A female victim in her early 20s was pronounced dead at the scene while the other victim, a male victim in his early 20s, was transported to the Boston Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

BPD Homicide detectives are actively investigating the shooting, and anyone with information is encouraged to call detectives at 617-343-4470.
