Mt. Washington Bank Robbed; Suspect Caught

According to reports, the robber dropped the money at Centre Street and Spring Park Avenue.

Police caught a man who allegedly robbed a Mt. Washington Bank branch in Jamaica Plain just after 2 p.m., according to reports.

As the robber was trying to get away from the bank, located at 515 Centre St., he knocked a child over and ditched the money at Spring Park Avenue and Centre Street, according to Universal Hub. The events took place as Curley Elementary School was letting out for the day.

The robber was reportedly caught and arrested in under two minutes

Bystanders located the money and turned it in to police after a dye pack had exploded, according to the news site. Universal Hub reports the robber said he had a bomb.
